Pearl Millet (Omahangu) Porridge

What You Need:

Water 3 cups

Pearl Millet Flour 2 Cooking Spoons

Butter 1tsp

Method:

Water 3 cups into a saucepan and let it simmer for a while.

Add 2 cooking spoons of Pearl Millet flour and stir vigorously.

Then cover the pot and let it boil.

Add butter and keep stirring until fully incorporated.

Lower the heat from medium to low heat. Cooks completely in 25mins

Pour into a bowl.

Note, this can be served with ¼ cup of cultured maize meal (Yogurt + maize meal) a good brand is Oshitaka Plain
